Every Card Discovered Unlocks More To The Story!

The Monster Archives…

J.R. Walker catalogued the beasts he encountered on small cards. For many years they have been lost to time and are highly sought after by collectors and adventurers alike. These cards are EXTREMELY RARE and can only be found, they are not sold in any stores. Through time many of them have been found along trails and areas that Walker frequented, all over the Adirondacks, but also beyond. From Kentucky through Ohio and West Virginia, to Pennsylvania and all areas of New York State these cards have been known to have been most commonly found. It is unknown exactly how many monsters that J.R. Walker encountered and catalogued, but his signature cards have been found all over the world in the most unexpected of places and circumstances. Mostly in obscure and deep wilderness locations where few ever set foot, but also in settings such as old basements and attics, and sometimes even public places! Always found among the peculiar and unexpected, no one is exactly sure if they were placed by Walker himself, if they were stolen and hidden, or if some other more mischievous magic is at play. In any case if you do ever come across one of these cards be sure to keep it safe and cherished. Not only are they extremely rare and valuable, but some say that they are bound with mystical enchantment. Those that hold the cards report experiencing unexplainable visions, hearing voices on the wind, always followed by uncontrollable wanderlust.

The History Of J.R. Walker

Adventure & Folklore

James Ryan Walker delighted in the unknown. Not to expose it to the greater world, but to be a rare witness to it’s beauty. Walker enjoyed nothing greater than delving into the lost and forgotten, the unexplored, the paths less traversed, where he encountered the realities behind many great myths, monsters, and folklore. His thirst for discovery drove him to the far ends of the Earth, eventually finding himself obsessed with the Adirondack mountain range of upstate New York. It was there he uncovered the deepest secrets that the forests and mountains withheld for thousands of years. Walker’s desire to find these beasts driven only by his yearning to understand the mysterious and magical world around him. He rarely spoke of his tales from the trails, save with those who he found worthy of the knowledge, and of course willing to listen to such absurdities. But Walker took extensive notes and kept meticulous records of which many thought were lost to time forever. Until recently when on rare occasions there are reports that incomplete portions of his notes, drawings, maps, and other artifacts have been found in unusual hiding spots all over the Adirondacks and beyond. J.R. Walker was a very private and unusual fellow certainly with untold secrets yet to be revealed – witchcraft, rituals, and the afterlife, monsters and beyond. Should you be wandering in the darkest, most forgotten corners of the forests then you might just be fortunate, or perhaps unfortunate enough to uncover something left behind by J.R. Walker…
